Aquablast ran through the hallway. “Dang, dang, dang, I’m gonna be late.” She muttered. Not a good way to start off her first day at the Autobot academy. She looked around, confused. The hallway split like a four-way street, and the halls were empty.  She was about to take a right when a voice came from behind her.

“Why aren’t you in class?” Aquablast turned around. A man was behind her, and he was maybe a foot taller than her. His expression didn’t look threatening, but Aquablast knew she was in trouble.

“I-I got lost. I’m trying to find Professor Wheeljack’s lab. He’s my first teacher this morning. It’s my first day here.”

The man smiled. Aquablast got a few moments to focus on his features. His hair was a royal blue, and his jacket that was similar to a racer’s was red, blue and white, and so were his pants. Red boots went past his ankles. “May I escort you?”

Aquablast blushed. “Y-Yes please.” The man began to walk to his left. Aquablast followed. <Who is that?> she thought. <Either way, he’s helping me. He can’t be that bad.>

“Alright class, turn to page eighty-three in your text books.” Professor Wheeljack said. Bumblebee and Wheelie quickly flipped through their books.

“Another boring day in the Professor’s lab.” Bumblebee muttered.

“Wheelie doesn’t think it’s that bad.” Wheelie replied in a whisper. A knock at the door took their attention away from the class. Optimus Prime stood in the doorway, and a boy maybe a few years older than them stood behind him.

“Wheeljack, can I have a moment?”

“Sure, Prime.” Wheeljack turned to the students. “Read the next few pages in your book.  I’ll be right back.” He left the room, and shut the door behind him. He turned to Optimus. “Yes?”

“This is a new student here. She had trouble finding your class.” He put a hand on the girl’s shoulder.

“Oh. Well, come on. You didn’t miss much.” Wheeljack opened the door and allowed the girl inside. He looked over her for a minute. She wore black jeans, blue tennis shoes, and a red shirt with a white stripe going across it. A headband ran across her forehead, and she definitely looked like a boy. Wheeljack closed the door behind him and turned towards the class. “Everyone, this is the new student that was transferred.” The class sat near motion less. Most of the students were over-looking the new student. Others were just staring off into space. “You can sit next to…” he looked over the class for an empty seat. “Ah, there’s a spot next to Blurr. Blurr, please stand up.”

Aquablast saw a boy in a blue and orange jogging suit stand up. An orange sweat-band with an Autobot symbol on it was on his head. His orange hair covered part of it. “Sure, of course, I really don’t mind, I really don’t, I-”

“That’s enough, Blurr.” Aquablast walked past three rows of students and sat down next to the fast talking boy. She reached under her desk and pulled out a text book. Turning to the page that Blurr was on, she sighed. <Not a good way to start off> she thought.

At lunch, things took a turn for the worse. Aquablast felt smaller and more alone than ever. Everyone seemed to have someone to sit by.  Looking for an empty table, she quietly found a seat and began to eat the mush that the served for lunch. <Tastes like oatmeal, I think.> She thought. The food stuck in her throat. She had a hard time swallowing.

“Uh… can Wheelie sit with you?” a voice asked. She turned her head to see a boy from her chemistry class with Professor Wheeljack. He had pinkish-orange shorts and a jacket, with the hood over a baseball cap.

“S-Sure.” She replied. The boy sat down across from her and began to eat. “Wheelie says thanks. Bee had to finish some homework, so Wheelie had no one to sit with.”

“W-Well, you can sit by me anytime you want. I don’t have any friends here yet…”

“Wheelie will be your friend! Bee probably will too!”

Aquablast’s spirit’s lightened. “Really?”

But by gym class, Aquablast began to feel alone again. Wreck-Gar, the teacher of that class, seemed to have something for competitive sports. So, he decided for the class that they were going to play baseball. Aquablast watched as everyone was picked for a team. Except for her and a few people. Suddenly, Wheelie popped out of nowhere and whispered something to his team captain. If Aquablast’s memory served her correctly, the guy’s name was Sideswipe. Or was it Sunstreaker? The opposite team had a guy that looked just the same. She knew they were twins, but that was as far as she got.

“Who’s that?” the guy asked. Wheelie pointed at Aquablast. “Oh… fine. We’re probably going to lose, but oh well.” He pointed at Aquablast. “Aquablast.”

Aquablast walked over. She stood next to Wheelie, and whispered. “Thanks.”

The last few people were picked, and everyone filled outside. The twins flipped a coin, and the opposite team got heads. “We’ll bat first.” The captain said, and the opposite team walked to the batting part of the field. The twins had the same hair, brown and slicked back except for their bangs. The captain of Aquablast’s team wore red and black, and the other wore yellow black.

“Alright, Wheelie and Bee, take the out-field. Beachcomber, you’re first base, I’ll be second, and Eject, you take short stop. Hey, newbie,” Referring to Aquablast, “Can you pitch?”

“Uh… yeah, I guess.”

Aquablast walked to the mound and put on a glove. It was a little big, but she wasn’t going to complain. <Good enough.> she thought.
“Play ball!” Wreck-Gar shouted, and he took place as the catcher. Aquablast looked at her batter. It was Blurr. <Fast. So, to counter-part him, I need to go faster. Fastball.> She thought. She wound up, and let her pitch go. Blurr swung, and missed. He looked at Aquablast in disbelief. Aquablast took a deep breath as the ball was thrown back. She wound up again. <He’s gonna try to swing faster this time. I’ve gotta go faster.> She wound up again, and the ball flew faster than the first time. It was hard to keep her eyes on the ball. Blurr missed again. She could hear people muttering behind her and in front of her. She caught the ball again, and looked at the ground. She closed her eyes for a few moments, and then they flew open. The ball left her finger tips, and it flew like a rocket. Right past Blurr, and Wreck-Gar duck to avoid the pain in his hand again. The ball went through the metal fence that surrounded the batting area. It left a small hole.

“Out?” Wreck-Gar said in surprise. Blurr walked off the field in disbelief and another player walked onto the field. Same story. He couldn’t hit Aquablast’s pitches. They were too fast. Same with the third. The team switched places, and Aquablast didn’t get a chance to hit, and they kept switching back and forth.

Finally, in the fifth inning, Aquablast got a chance to bat. She gripped it tightly, and held it in position. She looked at the pitcher. It was the team captain. He looked frustrated. Aquablast’s eyes narrowed. She couldn’t tell what he was going to do. He threw a pitch, and Aquablast missed. She cursed silently in her head. He pitched again. Another strike. She thought hard. <The last two pitches where a fastball and a splitter. What would he pick next? Normally he would do another fastball and start off with a splitter, so that means…> her eyes flew open, just as the ball left his finger tips. “Curveball!” she shouted, and sent the bat to meet the ball. With a tremendous crack, the ball went flying. She began to run for first base, and then second. She also could make third. And with a slide, she made it to home.

“SAFE!” Wreck-Gar shouted. Aquablast stood up and brushed herself off. She looked around as she walked off the field. Some people stared in disbelief. Others looked angry. (From the other team.) And there were a few who looked just plain confused. She entered the dough-out and sat down. Wheelie sat next to her.

“Wheelie thought that was amazing!” He was nearly bouncing up and down. Aquablast heard the bell ring for the end of the class period. Everyone filed of the field. Aquablast looked at her schedule. She didn’t have any more classes. <Now where do I go?> she thought. Heading down the crowded hallway, she made her way to the office. Opening the door, she went up to the front desk.

“Uh… excuse me?” she asked. A woman with white and pink hair looked up.

“Yes, can I help you?”

“My classes are done, where am I supposed to go now?” The lady took her schedule. “You are supposed to go to the dorm room in section C. You will be meeting your room mates there.”

“I- Thank you.” Aquablast replied as she walked out of the room. <Where’s section C?> She saw a boy older than her walk by. “Excuse me!” The boy turned.

“Where’s section C?”

His eyes narrowed. “Why do you want to know?”

“The lady in the office said that it’s where my dorm is. Uh… I’m new here.”

“You’re the new roommate me and Jazz have to share our room with?”

“Wow, you’re small for a guy.”

Aquablast’s cheeks turned red. “I’m not a-”

“Never mind, come on.” He started to walk away.  Aquablast ran to keep up with him.

“So, who are you?”

“Red Alert.” He was dressed similar to what the man that had helped Aquablast earlier that day, only his hair was red.

“Oh, I’m Aquablast.”

A few minutes later, they came to the dorm room. Red Alert opened the door and shouted, “Jazz!”

An African-American boy popped out of the closet. “Yeah?”

“We’ve got a new roommate.”

“Aquablast. My name’s Aquablast.”

The guy wiped his hands off on his jacket. His black hair was pushed back by the sun glasses he wore, which were a light blue. The rest of his clothes where white with the occasional red and light blue stripes. He smiled. “Hope you like music, cause I do. You’ll be hearing’ a lot of it.”

“Music’s good in my book.” Aquablast replied. She walked inside the room, and saw that it was a mess. <This place needs to be cleaned.> she thought. <I’ll do that tomorrow. We have the day off.>

“There’s a clean bed in corner. I hope you don’t mind.” Jazz said with a motion of his hand. Aquablast walked over, careful not to step in the pizza and unknown foods on the floor. She set her stuff on the bed, and fell head-long into the pillow. She kicked the stuff off her bed, pushed it under, and sat up. She sighed. “This is insane.” She muttered.

“Well, Red Alert and I have to run somewhere. We’ve got a concert to go to. So, we’ll be seeing you.” Jazz began to walk out the door. He shut it, and Aquablast searched for the shower. Cleaning up, she put on a pair of shorts and crawled into her bed. <This is the craziest day of my life.> she thought, and pulled out her media player. Setting the volume on low, she listened to her music, and drifted off to sleep.
This is just a story i found on my thumb drive. I started writing it about a week ago, and I already fogot about it until now. Transformers gone human, and it looks like a high school of sorts. Wheeljack's a professor, and Wreck-Gar's a gym teacher! And the main character is the only female studnet in the entire school. <That might pose a problem.>
The main character, Aquablast, was created by me. And for some reason, everyone thinks she's a guy. Except for Optimus Prime, who knows she's a girl but never told anyone so. Wonder why...
Wheelie, Bumblebee, Red Alert, Jazz, Optimus, Arcee, Wreck-Gar, Wheeljack, Blurr, Sunstreaker, and Sideswipe are the charcters who actually talk in this portion of the story. More people will be coming. <Like Decepticons.> Hope you like it!

I like the story. Where'd you come up with the name Aquablast, because if you go to and go to the name generator you can get your Transformers Cybertron name.
Susuki-san Featured By Owner Jul 24, 2008
I found the list of names and I make up random ones. It's quite amusing.

I've just started writing... but... now that you think about it, that's not a bad idea, either. I'll see what I can do.

Ah no, it just occured to me... which Red Alert? The medic or the super paranoid security director?
Susuki-san Featured By Owner Jul 20, 2008
Prossesing... uh... I'm not really sure. Ahhh, this is so embarrassing I'm not really sure! Must figure it out before I continue to write. Dang it all, I've gotta figure it out!
outerealm Featured By Owner Jul 21, 2008
Ok... because if its the cybertronian Red Alert, it would make more sense then the G1 Red Alert. G1 wouldn't share a room unless he absolutely had to, and even then he'd probably hide somewhere else and sleep there. I'm not sure about the cybertronian Red Alert (Whose the same as First Aid from G1)

But... I'm getting into trivia. Sorry. I still like this story though!

Red Alert and Jazz sharing a room? That sounds bad... Shouldn't it be Prowler? Ah well, I look forward to the next part.
